Go Confess
Go Confess Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 21, 2026
Last Updated: September 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how 1048035 B.C. LTD., operating as Go Confess (“Go Confess,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit GoConfess.lol, use the Go Confess web service, or use a Go Confess mobile application (collectively, the “Service”).
Go Confess is operated from Canada and may be accessed by adults in countries where the Service is lawfully available. Availability of particular features or payment methods may vary by country, platform, app store, and payment provider.
Go Confess is an entertainment service for brief, harmless, everyday failures. Users may file a confession for free, participate in Judicial Duty, and judge public cases. A case that receives a SENTENCED verdict may offer its owner the choice to serve the assigned Penance Order or purchase a bribe.
This Privacy Policy should be read together with the Go Confess Terms & Conditions.
The short version
- Your public username, published confessions, judgments, reactions, Penance Suggestions, titles, verdicts, case history, and certain completed bribe information may be visible to anyone, including people without an account.
- Do not submit information that you do not want made public. Go Confess is not an anonymous, confidential, therapy, crisis-support, or secrets service.
- Filing a confession is free.
- If a bribe purchase is successfully verified, the public case may show the BRIBED status and the verified amount and currency, such as BRIBED · $10. Refund, revocation, chargeback, and dispute details are handled as private payment-administration information and are not displayed as a separate public status.
- App stores and payment providers process payment credentials. Go Confess does not intend to receive or store full card numbers or card security codes.
- If you use voice input, we process the recording to produce a transcription. We normally delete raw audio within 24 hours after successful transcription and immediate processing, and no later than seven days unless a limited documented exception applies.
- We may use automated tools, including artificial intelligence, for transcription, optional rewriting, classification, moderation, abuse prevention, and related service functions. These tools do not cast community judgments or decide the jury verdict.
- We may use limited analytics, diagnostics, and error monitoring to operate, secure, and improve the Service. We do not currently use third-party behavioural advertising.
- If you block another account, we keep a private record of that account relationship so we can limit future discovery and interaction. The blocked user is not notified, although the effects of blocking may be noticeable.
- We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to identity verification and lawful exceptions.
1. Who is responsible for your information
The organization responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy is:
1048035 B.C. LTD.
Office #645, 145 1/2 Church Street, Unit 5
Toronto, Ontario, M5B 1Y4, Canada
Privacy and support contact: support@goconfess.lol
Where applicable law requires Go Confess to appoint a local privacy representative, we will publish that representative’s contact details in this Privacy Policy or a jurisdiction-specific notice.
2. Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use Go Confess and whether you use the web service or a mobile application.
2.1 Account and profile information
We may collect:
- your email address;
- your public username;
- account identifiers and authentication information;
- account creation date, age-eligibility confirmation, and account status;
- profile details you choose to provide;
- offender and judge titles, participation history, and reputation information; and
- account settings and communication preferences.
Your email address and internal account identifiers are not intended to appear on your public profile. Your username and public activity may be public.
2.2 Confessions and other content
We may collect:
- typed confessions;
- voice recordings and resulting transcriptions;
- edited or rewritten versions of a confession;
- rewrite preferences;
- Department classifications;
- judgments, reactions, Penance Suggestions, and suggestion votes;
- optional Penance updates;
- content reports and supporting details; and
- messages sent to support, safety, or privacy contacts.
Your content may reveal personal or sensitive information depending on what you choose to say. Go Confess is for minor, harmless failures. Do not submit crime, abuse, trauma, danger, another person’s private information, or other serious or sensitive disclosures.
2.3 Public case and participation information
When a confession is filed or a user participates in a case, we may create and maintain:
- case number;
- public username;
- published confession;
- Department, filing time, and case status;
- Judicial Duty and jury-progress information;
- judgment counts and final verdict;
- reactions, Penance Suggestions, and suggestion votes;
- Penance Order and completion status;
- bribe status and, after verified payment, the public bribe amount and currency;
- case-history events; and
- public titles or record information.
Judgments and other participation are linked internally to authenticated accounts to enforce eligibility and one-judgment-per-user rules, prevent manipulation, and maintain accurate records.
2.4 Blocking information
If you block or unblock another account, we may collect and maintain:
- the internal identifiers of the blocking and blocked accounts;
- whether the block is active;
- the date and time the block was created or removed; and
- limited technical or security information needed to enforce the block and detect attempts to evade it.
The block relationship is not intended to be public. We do not notify the blocked account that you blocked it, although changes to discovery or interaction may make the effects noticeable.
Blocking is forward-only. It does not remove earlier judgments, reactions, Penance Suggestions, suggestion votes, case records, verdicts, jury counts, Penance Orders, completed bribe records, or other activity already forming part of the public or administrative record.
2.5 Bribe purchase and transaction information
If an eligible user chooses to purchase a bribe, we and the relevant app store, payment platform, and service providers may process:
- the selected product, package, or price tier;
- displayed price, verified amount, and currency;
- purchase-intent and case identifiers;
- a non-guessable internal user identifier or RevenueCat App User ID;
- app-store, storefront, platform, and payment-provider information;
- transaction and original-transaction identifiers;
- purchase, verification, payment, refund, revocation, dispute, chargeback, and failure status;
- the version of the Terms or transaction-specific Bribe Payment Terms accepted;
- acceptance records linked to the user, case, product or tier, displayed amount, displayed currency, and server-recorded acceptance time;
- timestamps and receipts;
- limited payment-method information supplied by a provider, where applicable; and
- fraud, risk, tax, accounting, and reconciliation information.
Go Confess may use RevenueCat to coordinate purchase entitlements and receive verified transaction events across supported platforms. Purchases may be processed by Apple, Stripe, or another provider disclosed at checkout, depending on platform and availability. Before a provider is enabled in production, this Policy and the checkout notice must accurately reflect the providers actually used.
Full card numbers and card security codes are collected by the applicable app store or payment provider and are not intended to be received or stored by Go Confess.
The public case does not display a selected bribe amount before successful payment verification. After verification, it may display the BRIBED status together with the verified amount and currency. Internal refund, revocation, dispute, or chargeback data is not displayed as a separate public status. If verified provider information later shows that the public payment record is inaccurate, Go Confess may correct or remove the BRIBED indicator or displayed amount.
2.6 Device, app, usage, and security information
When you use the Service, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- IP address;
- browser type, device type, operating system, app version, and language;
- approximate location derived from IP address or storefront country;
- pages, screens, cases, and features viewed or used;
- referral information;
- session dates, times, and duration;
- judgment, reaction, sharing, purchase-flow, and navigation events;
- cookie, local-storage, app-instance, and similar identifiers;
- crash, error, diagnostic, and performance information;
- push-notification token, if you enable notifications; and
- signals used to detect spam, bots, duplicate activity, payment fraud, coordinated voting, suspicious reporting, or attacks.
We do not need or intend to collect precise GPS location for the current Service.
2.7 Information from others
We may receive information from:
- authentication, hosting, analytics, security, app-store, purchase-management, and payment providers;
- people who report content or contact us about an account or case;
- payment networks and financial institutions in connection with purchases, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, or fraud; and
- authorities or other parties where permitted or required by law.
3. How we use personal information
We use personal information to:
- create, authenticate, secure, and administer accounts;
- receive, transcribe, rewrite, classify, moderate, file, and publish confessions;
- record Judicial Duty, judgments, reactions, suggestions, reports, case histories, and public records;
- record and enforce block and unblock choices, limit future discovery or interaction between blocked accounts, and detect attempts to evade a block;
- calculate jury progress and final verdicts using valid community judgments;
- assign and display Penance Orders, titles, records, and case statuses;
- present, process, verify, reconcile, refund, and document eligible bribe purchases;
- associate verified purchases with the correct user and case;
- display a verified bribe amount and currency on the applicable public case;
- send account, security, transaction, verdict, moderation, and service notices;
- create sharing cards and feature intentionally public cases in Go Confess social, editorial, or promotional materials;
- provide support and respond to privacy requests;
- operate limited analytics, understand use, diagnose errors, test features, and improve the Service;
- detect and prevent abuse, fake or coordinated judgments, fraud, security incidents, and violations of our Terms;
- enforce our agreements and protect users, Go Confess, and others;
- comply with legal, tax, accounting, payment-network, app-store, and regulatory obligations; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We may create aggregated or de-identified information that is not reasonably capable of identifying you. We may use and disclose that information for analytics, safety, product improvement, and business planning, subject to applicable law.
4. Public information and visibility
Go Confess is built around a public case record.
Information you intentionally publish may be visible worldwide, may appear in search engines, and may be copied, screenshot, quoted, indexed, or shared by other people outside our control. This can include your username, confession, judgments, reactions, Penance Suggestions, titles, verdict, Penance Order, completion status, BRIBED status, verified bribe amount and currency, and case history.
For example, after successful purchase verification, a public case may show:
BRIBED · $10
Paid to avoid personal growth.
The amount and currency are therefore publicly associated with the case and its public username. Do not purchase a bribe if you do not want that completed purchase amount displayed on the public case.
Go Confess may also feature intentionally public content in its sharing cards, social accounts, editorial material, or promotion of the Service, as described in the Terms.
Using a pseudonym may reduce direct identification, but it does not make you anonymous. Your activity remains connected internally to your account, and details in your content may identify you or someone else.
If Go Confess removes or de-identifies public content, copies may remain in search-engine caches, backups, screenshots, third-party posts, or other places we do not control.
A block relationship is not intended to be public, and Go Confess does not notify the blocked account. Blocking may limit how the accounts appear to one another or whether they can create new interactions involving each other. It does not make otherwise public content private and cannot prevent access while logged out, through another account, through a shared copy, through a search engine, or outside Go Confess.
5. Voice recordings, microphone access, and transcription
Voice input is optional. A typed alternative is available.
If you choose voice input in a mobile app, the app will request microphone permission before recording. You may deny or later withdraw that permission through your device settings without losing unrelated core features, although voice input will no longer work.
We process a recording to create a written transcription. The recording may be transmitted securely to a speech-to-text provider for that purpose.
We normally delete raw voice recordings within 24 hours after successful transcription and immediate processing. Raw audio will be deleted no later than seven days after it is recorded unless we obtain separate consent for a stated purpose or must temporarily preserve a particular recording for a documented security incident, technical dispute, legal claim, or legal obligation. Raw audio is not part of the permanent public case record.
The transcription and any version you approve may be retained like other confession text. We do not use recordings to create voiceprints, verify identity, or infer biometric identity.
Any exception to the seven-day maximum must be limited to the specific recording, documented internally, access-restricted, and ended when the reason for the exception no longer applies.
6. Automated tools and artificial intelligence
We may use automated systems and artificial intelligence service providers to:
- transcribe voice input;
- offer an optional rewrite of confession text;
- suggest a Department classification;
- detect or flag content that may violate our rules;
- assist human moderation;
- detect spam, fraud, bots, duplicate content, or coordinated activity; and
- select or lightly edit a Penance Order from eligible community suggestions.
These systems may process confession text, transcriptions, suggestions, reports, account identifiers, and relevant context. We limit the information sent to what is reasonably needed for the task.
Automated tools do not cast Valid Judgments or determine whether PENANCE or FORGIVE wins. Jury outcomes are based on valid community judgments and verified server-side rules.
We do not use confession content or raw voice recordings to train our own general-purpose foundation model. We will use available contractual and technical controls intended to prevent service providers from using Service content to train their general-purpose models where that is required for our use of the provider.
Where law or an app-platform rule requires notice or permission before personal information is sent to a third-party artificial intelligence provider, we will provide that notice and obtain the required permission.
If you believe an automated moderation result is wrong, contact support@goconfess.lol to request review where review is available or required by law.
7. Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies
We may use cookies, local storage, software development kits, pixels, and similar technologies for:
- authentication and session continuity;
- security, human verification, and fraud prevention;
- preferences and essential functionality;
- app stability, performance, diagnostics, and error monitoring; and
- limited product analytics used to understand and improve service quality.
Essential technologies are needed for the Service to work. Where required by law, we will ask for consent before using non-essential analytics technologies and provide a way to withdraw or change that choice.
Google Search Console may provide aggregated information about how the public website appears in Google Search. If we later enable Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, session replay, advertising pixels, or another non-essential analytics technology, we will update our disclosures and implement consent or opt-out controls where required before enabling it.
Go Confess does not currently use third-party behavioural advertising. Browser and device settings may let you block or delete certain technologies, but blocking essential technologies may prevent account or purchase features from working.
8. Mobile app permissions and notifications
A Go Confess mobile app may request:
- Microphone access, only when you choose voice input;
- Notification permission, if optional push notifications are offered; and
- other permissions only if a feature clearly requires them and the purpose is explained when requested.
You can manage permissions in your device settings. Denying an optional permission will disable the related feature but should not prevent use of unrelated core features.
If you enable push notifications, we and our notification provider may process a device push token and notification-delivery information. You can disable push notifications in the app or device settings.
9. App stores, RevenueCat, and payment providers
When you obtain or use a mobile app, Apple or another app-store operator may collect information independently under its own privacy policy, including account, device, storefront, download, subscription, purchase, tax, and payment information. Go Confess does not control information an app store processes for its own purposes.
When RevenueCat is enabled, it may receive an internal app-user identifier and app-store transaction information to validate purchases, synchronize purchase status, and deliver verified transaction events to Go Confess. Where technically supported, Go Confess will use a non-guessable internal identifier rather than an email address or public username as the RevenueCat App User ID.
On the web, an eligible bribe purchase may be processed through Stripe or another disclosed payment provider. The provider’s checkout and privacy terms also apply to information it collects for its own payment-processing, fraud, and compliance purposes.
Prices may be presented through the same logical bribe tiers on supported platforms, while the actual displayed price and currency may vary because of storefront localization, tax, exchange rates, or platform requirements. Go Confess records and publicly displays the verified completed-purchase amount and currency associated with the case.
App-store privacy labels, nutrition labels, and similar disclosures are summaries. We will take reasonable steps to keep them consistent with this Privacy Policy and the app’s actual data practices.
10. How we disclose personal information
We may disclose personal information as follows.
10.1 To the public at your direction
We publish information that forms part of public profiles, cases, community participation, sharing cards, verified bribe records, and public case histories as described in this Privacy Policy and the Terms.
10.2 To service providers
We use providers that help with:
- cloud hosting, databases, storage, authentication, and deployment;
- app-store purchasing, purchase verification, payment processing, tax support, and fraud prevention;
- speech-to-text, language processing, and content moderation;
- transactional email, notifications, and support;
- analytics, performance, diagnostics, and error monitoring; and
- security and human verification.
Production providers may include Apple, RevenueCat, Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, and OpenAI, together with providers for speech-to-text, email, analytics, error monitoring, support, notifications, and human verification. A provider is included here only when its service is actually enabled for Go Confess. Our provider list may change as the Service changes.
Providers process information for us under contractual or legal restrictions appropriate to their role. Some providers may also process limited information for their own legally permitted purposes, as described in their policies.
10.3 For legal, safety, and enforcement reasons
We may disclose information where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:
- comply with law, legal process, or a valid government request;
- protect the rights, safety, or security of users, Go Confess, or others;
- investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, payment disputes, or violations of our Terms; or
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
10.4 In a business transaction
If Go Confess is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, insolvency, or similar transaction, personal information may be disclosed as part of due diligence or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and applicable law.
10.5 With professional advisers
We may disclose information to lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers, and other professional advisers who need it to provide services and are subject to confidentiality obligations.
10.6 With your consent or direction
We may disclose information for another purpose when you direct us to do so or provide valid consent.
11. No sale of personal information or behavioural advertising
Go Confess does not sell personal information for money or other valuable consideration.
Go Confess does not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising and does not currently use third-party behavioural advertising.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18.
If these practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy, provide legally required notice and choices before the change applies, and process legally recognized opt-out preference signals where required.
12. Legal grounds for processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information on one or more of the following grounds:
- Contract: to provide the Service you request and administer your account, cases, judgments, transactions, and blocking choices.
- Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, moderate, analyze, and improve the Service; respect and enforce blocking choices; prevent block evasion, fraud, abuse, and manipulation; protect users; and enforce our Terms, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent: where you choose voice input, accept non-essential cookies or analytics, enable optional notifications, receive optional marketing, or where applicable law otherwise requires consent. You may withdraw consent for future processing, although this does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.
- Legal obligations: to comply with tax, accounting, payment, consumer-protection, privacy, law-enforcement, app-store, and other legal duties.
- Legal claims and vital interests: where necessary to protect rights, safety, or legal positions.
Public processing of a confession is also based on your deliberate request to file and publish it. Do not submit sensitive information that is unnecessary for a harmless confession.
13. Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Service, maintain accurate public case records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, accounting, app-store, and payment requirements.
Our standard retention periods are:
| Information | Retention criteria |
|---|---|
| Raw voice recordings | Normally deleted within 24 hours after successful transcription and immediate processing; deleted no later than seven days unless the limited exception in Section 5 applies. |
| Account and profile information | Kept while the account is active. Following a verified deletion request, ordinary account data is deleted or de-identified within 30 days, subject to the limited records described below. |
| Draft, rejected, or abandoned confessions | Deleted or de-identified within 30 days unless temporarily needed for an active appeal, abuse investigation, dispute, or legal obligation. |
| Public cases and community content | Kept while public and as needed to preserve the integrity of completed cases and other users’ contributions. Following account deletion, content is disassociated from the account and attributed to Former User, deleted, restricted, or further de-identified as described in Section 14. |
| Judgments and verdict records | Case outcomes may be retained as part of the public case record. The internal link between a judgment and a deleted account is removed or converted to a restricted anti-abuse identifier when no longer necessary, ordinarily no later than two years after the case closes. |
| Blocking records | Kept while the block is active and the relevant accounts remain available. After unblocking or account deletion, the block relationship is deleted or de-identified within 30 days unless a restricted record is temporarily needed for safety, abuse prevention, block-evasion detection, an active dispute, or a legal obligation. A restricted safety or abuse record may be kept for up to two years after the matter is resolved, or longer only while a legal obligation or legal hold applies. |
| Bribe purchases, refunds, revocations, disputes, chargebacks, tax records, and payment-related acceptance records | Six years after the end of the applicable tax year, or longer if required by law, an active dispute, an audit, or a legal hold. These records are access-restricted. |
| Reports, moderation, fraud, account-enforcement, and security records | Up to two years after the matter is resolved or the account closes, whichever is later. Records may be kept longer while an investigation, restriction, dispute, security incident, or legal claim remains active. |
| Analytics and ordinary technical logs | Up to 12 months, then deleted or aggregated so they no longer identify a person, unless a specific security incident requires temporary preservation. |
| Support and privacy requests | Three years after the request is closed, unless a longer period is required for an active dispute or legal obligation. |
| Backups | Removed through the ordinary backup-rotation process, targeted to occur within 90 days. Data preserved for a documented legal hold, security incident, or disaster-recovery event is deleted when that need ends. |
Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove information from encrypted backups. Information restored from backup remains subject to the applicable deletion request and will not be used for ordinary business purposes.
If applicable law requires a shorter period, that shorter period controls. If a record must be kept longer for a legal obligation or documented legal hold, access will be restricted and the record will not be used for marketing or unrelated product purposes.
14. Account deletion and content deletion
You may request deletion of your account and personal information through the account settings or by contacting support@goconfess.lol. If a Go Confess mobile app permits account creation, it will also provide an in-app path to initiate account deletion.
Before deleting information, we may verify your identity. We aim to complete a verified deletion request within 30 days, unless applicable law permits or requires a different period. We will tell you if additional time is legally permitted and reasonably necessary.
When an account is deleted, we will ordinarily:
- disable login and access to the account;
- delete the user’s email address, profile information, settings, push token, and other account data that is no longer needed;
- remove the public profile and replace the public username on retained contributions with Former User;
- disconnect retained cases, judgments, reactions, and Penance Suggestions from the deleted account wherever the connection is no longer necessary;
- remove active blocking preferences and delete or de-identify block relationships that are no longer needed, subject to the limited safety, abuse-prevention, dispute, and legal exceptions in Section 13;
- delete or redact public content that still identifies the person where continued publication is not lawful or necessary; and
- keep only the restricted records permitted below.
Completed cases and community contributions may remain available after account deletion when retaining them is reasonably necessary to preserve the case record or other users’ contributions. Retained content must be disassociated from the deleted account. If the content itself contains information that could reasonably identify the person, we will assess whether it must be redacted, restricted, or deleted. Merely replacing a username does not make identifiable content anonymous.
Depending on the request and applicable law, we may:
- delete information;
- de-identify or disassociate content from your username;
- restrict content from public view; or
- retain limited information where necessary for transaction records, tax or accounting duties, security, fraud prevention, moderation enforcement, dispute resolution, legal claims, or another lawful exception.
Information retained under an exception will be access-restricted, kept only for the applicable retention period, and not used for marketing or unrelated product purposes. Where required, we will explain the category of information retained and the reason, without disclosing information that would compromise security, fraud prevention, or another person’s rights.
Deleting an account does not necessarily erase copies made by other people or remove content from third-party search engines, caches, screenshots, or websites outside our control.
A confession may ordinarily be edited or withdrawn through the product only before its first accepted judgment. That product rule does not limit privacy, safety, or deletion rights that applicable law gives you. Contact us if public content creates a privacy, safety, or legal concern.
15. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to:
- know whether we process your personal information;
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- receive information about the categories, sources, purposes, and recipients of that information;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete personal information, subject to exceptions;
- obtain a portable copy of certain information;
- withdraw consent for future processing where processing is based on consent;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling, where applicable;
- appeal a refusal of a privacy request where applicable;
- complain to a privacy or data-protection regulator; and
- receive equal service and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.
To exercise a right, email support@goconfess.lol. State your country and state or province of residence and describe your request.
We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and direct identity confirmation. Information collected for verification will be used for that purpose.
If we deny a request, we will explain the reason where required and provide appeal instructions if applicable.
16. Additional information for international users
Go Confess is operated from Canada but may accept users from other countries. Privacy rights and required response procedures may differ depending on where you live.
16.1 Canada
Canadian users may request access to and correction of personal information and may challenge our compliance with applicable privacy law. They may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, where applicable, a provincial privacy regulator.
16.2 European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
Where European or United Kingdom privacy law applies, the legal grounds in Section 12 apply. You may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to processing, receive portable data, withdraw consent, and complain to your local supervisory authority.
Where required, international transfers will use an adequacy decision, approved contractual clauses, or another legally recognized safeguard. If applicable law requires Go Confess to appoint a representative in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, the representative’s contact information will be published in this Policy or a jurisdiction-specific notice.
16.3 United States
Residents of certain U.S. states may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information and to opt out of certain sale, targeted-advertising, sharing, or profiling activities. Go Confess does not currently sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, or use it for targeted advertising.
Where applicable, you may appeal our response to a privacy request by replying to our decision or emailing support@goconfess.lol with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line.
These regional descriptions do not limit rights available under another applicable law.
17. International data transfers
Go Confess and its service providers may process personal information in Canada, the United States, and other countries where our providers or their subprocessors operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws, and information may be accessible to courts, law-enforcement bodies, or other authorities under local law.
Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for international transfers. Contact us if you want more information about applicable safeguards.
18. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. Controls may include access restrictions, authenticated accounts, database row-level security, encryption in transit, separation of public and restricted data, server-side purchase verification, logging, and monitoring.
No system is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your email account, device, app-store account, and Go Confess session. Contact support@goconfess.lol promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
Where required by law, we will notify affected individuals and regulators of a qualifying data breach.
19. Adults only
Go Confess is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information, contact support@goconfess.lol. We will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include deleting the account and information.
20. External links and third-party services
The Service may link to websites or services we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information a third party collects for its own purposes.
App stores, RevenueCat, and payment providers may process information under both their agreements with Go Confess and their own privacy terms, depending on the transaction and applicable law.
21. Communications
We may send service-related communications such as login messages, security alerts, receipts, purchase updates, verdict notices, Penance Order notices, moderation decisions, privacy-request updates, and policy changes. These messages are part of operating the Service and may not be optional while you maintain an account or transaction.
If we send marketing messages, we will obtain consent where required and provide an unsubscribe method. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary service messages.
22. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service, providers, platforms, or legal requirements change. We will update the “Last Updated” date and provide additional notice of material changes where required.
If a change requires consent, we will request it before applying that change to your information.
23. Contact and complaints
